Famous Gurkha Khukuri House | Buy Online Kukri | American Eagle Dragon

This is one of our more beautiful and decorative kukri models. Don’t let’s it’s decorative form fool you, this is a fully functional Kukri that would be just as at home in the wilds as on a mantle. We call it our “American Eagle” dragon design. The name of this Kukri is derived from the Eagle (specifically the Bald Eagle) which is the national Symbol of the United States. Adding to this motif, the handle/rear pommel shape is a bird-beaked design and its popular among US Knife collectors/users and very useful for retaining the knife in hand during a hard chopping stroke. The blade is made by hand, using a continuous beating/forging process. The 6″ blade is made of high quality carbon steel (spring of truck or Car, 5160) with a differential heat treatment, done by our smiths pouring water on the cutting edge to temper the blade so the cutting edge is very strong, and the spine/back of the knife is softer and tougher to absorb shock. The 5″ Full tang handle is made of beautiful water buffalo bone and permanently affixed with two steel rivets. The high quality sheath is made for a perfect fit for this particular design of Kukri and is a rich white. This Kukri can be used for cutting wood, firewood, meat, clearing bushes etc. Due to small size and lighter weight, this Kukri is the ideal tool for camping, and hiking. The craftsmanship and detail on this knife is amazing, so whether you are looking for an incredible conversion piece for your office/den, or a small yet functionally beautiful gift to your dearest one, we are sure that you will love this heirloom quality Kukri!
